Nov. 27: Open House

Have you ever wondered what the HopeNow Furniture Bank organization really looks like?  Would you like to tour our warehouse and meet some of our volunteers?  This is your chance!  On #GivingTuesday, November 27th, we will be celebrating by having Open House at our warehouse at 1025 South Main in Mount Vernon.  We will be giving tours, having silent auctions, give aways, and snacks.  It is a time to meet and greet staff, volunteers and other supporters.  We will be glad to accept donations of clean, usable furniture, new or clean and gently used bed linens, kitchen supplies, and of course, monetary donations to support our continued work.  Come between 9:30 and 12:00 Noon.  Our regular working hours will be conducted during the afternoon from 1-3:30 after the Open House.  We would be happy to see you there and to share our mission with you.

Monday Match-Ups Challenge

KICKOFF! We are excited to begin the campaign to raise funds to enable HopeNow Furniture Bank to continue it’s work here in Knox County. We have a lofty goal, but funds have started to come in. Stay tuned to our Facebook page to see current totals.

Some of our fabulous volunteers have decided to issue a challenge!

We will match your donation with one from the list below, offered by our staff. How great is that! Double the money! Double the work done to help our Knox County neighbors in need!❤️

Nov. 6, 2018: Warehouse Reopening

November 2, 2018

After the renovation work that caused us to close the warehouse for several weeks, we announce our reopening for Tuesday, Nov. 6th, regular hours of 1-3:30 p.m. for client appointments and drop off donations. Looking ahead during the next two months, there are other dates to be aware of:

• • The warehouse will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22nd.
• • The last day of client appointments before the holiday closing is Thursday, Dec.20th.
• • The warehouse will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 21 – Jan. 7th and will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 8th.
