What a privilege it is to host the Benefit Showcase for HopeNow Furniture Bank of Knox County! We are indeed blessed and honored to have talented individuals and groups perform their special abilities and skills. All this is an expression of support for an organization designed to help families who simply need what we know as the basic essentials for a home; beds, a table to gather around and eat, a comfortable chair. The passion of performing, mixed with the compassion and caring for others, makes this annual activity a jubilation of fun and excitement. Any and all community members are encouraged to develop their special ability, their special knack, and join a troupe of other performers who humbly give of their talents and present them to North Central Ohio. It is with pride that we help to raise the awareness of such a vital program as HopeNow Furniture Bank of Knox County. We certainly hope to see you at auditions in March and at the shows on April 30 and May 1.

Have you had a chance to visit the new Wendy’s on South Main since their recent rebuild?  Well, here is your chance to support local business AND HopeNow Furniture Bank at the same time.  On Tuesday, September 8, Wendy’s on South Main in Mount Vernon will donate a percentage of all sales between the hours of 5-9pm to the work of HopeNow Furniture Bank.  Mark your calendar, gather your friends and family, and join us on this evening to make a difference for the people of Knox County.

Aug. 13-16, Dan Emmett Days

Downton Mount Vernon will be alive with activity during Dan Emmett Days, Aug. 13-16. HopeNow Furniture Bank volunteers will be present and anxious to meet new friends.  We will have some “give aways” and maybe a surprise or two.  Be sure to look for our blue tent and introduce yourself.  We’d love to share some information, pictures, and literature with you. See you there!  

First Fridays

On Tuesday, April 21st, the HopeNow Furniture Bank warehouse will be closed for the day.  Client appointments will resume on Thursday the 23rd and drop-off donations may be delivered between 10-1:00.
